A sculpture of an 11-meter whale made of more than 4,000 kg of garbage was installed in Bruges
The team of authors, led by Jason Klimoski and Lesley Chang, wanted to highlight the problem of ocean pollution and the impact of waste on aquatic flora and fauna. At the same time, several thousand kilograms of plastic is only a small fraction of the total amount of waste littering the oceans.
